Bentham Local Food (2010) have complied a local food map for the North Lancashire area. The map uses images of local foods, placed in the location that they are produced from.

Transition City Lancaster initiative (http://www.transitioncitylancaster.org/)
Transition City Lancaster is the initiative of the local Transition movement, which provided much help and support to this project. In particular the local trask force for local food sourcing can be seen as a key stakeholder in this project.

UK food cooperatives

Stroudco (http://www.stroudco.org.uk)
Stroudco is a local food cooperative which uses a website as central trading platform to facilitate exchanges between local producers and consumers. Items for sale are not limited to grocery, but also include locally produced textiles. Goods are being delivered biweekly to a central place where consumers can pick up their orders.
